Choose a move for your actual setup
Open Challenges, then Filters. Choose Seated if you plan to stay seated, or At a desk to browse desk-tagged moves. Read the card and watch the whole preview before attempting it. A desk tag does not mean every move can be done in every chair or workspace.
You can also browse a body focus such as shoulders, neck or wrists. The current filters broaden the selection across chosen body, space and equipment tags; they are not a guarantee that every card meets every selected tag. Check the individual move before you start.
A simple desk-break example
The catalogue includes a longer Desk shoulder release sequence. It is an example of a seated, chair-tagged move: preview it, check that you can follow it comfortably, and make sure the relevant body parts fit in the camera view. Its longer attempt requires Plus. Watching the preview is free.
For a free first turn, find a move at or below 10 seconds and check its setup rather than assuming the desk example is a free attempt. The duration on each card is the clip length. A complete break takes longer once you include watching, positioning the phone, recording and replaying.

This reference uses a chair. Watch the whole move, check your space and comfort, then choose whether to try it. The camera stays off while you watch this preview.
Seated neck side stretch · 5.5-second move · Free
Watch the reference, then use your camera to record your turn. Replay both and see your movement match when enough is in view.
Try this free move →No account needed. Camera access starts in practice. Your recording stays on your device.
What happens when I try it?
- Open this same free move in the app’s practice screen.
- Check your camera view if prompted, then practise and record when you are ready.
- Replay your attempt beside the reference. Your match is calculated from your recording; there is no preset example score.
Some attempts cannot receive a score. The match compares visible movement and does not certify correct exercise form. Watch the whole reference and choose only movement that suits your space and comfort.

Make the first turn easy to understand
- Watch the reference before recording.
- Place the phone steadily where the moving body parts are visible.
- Complete the camera check if prompted. Nothing is recorded during that check.
- Practise, then record when you are ready.
- Replay the comparison. Try again if you want another turn.
You do not need to chase a higher percentage. The score compares visible movement; a low or missing score can reflect camera coverage, lighting or tracking. It does not diagnose a problem or judge whether the movement is safe for you.
One move or a little flow?
Hands-free flow watches, counts down, records and continues through the selected stack. It is included free; free accounts preview longer Plus moves briefly before continuing. Check the selected moves and equipment before starting a flow. Use a single move when you want to control each step yourself.
Movement reminders let you choose times, days, body focus, space and equipment in the app. You choose whether to allow notifications. Occasional move-update notifications are a separate optional setting.
Can the app remind me during the workday?
Open Settings → Movement reminders and choose the times and days that suit you. You can also choose body focus, available space and equipment for the reminder set. Allow notifications if you want the phone to deliver those reminders.
These are reminders at the times you choose, rather than a timer that measures how long you have been sitting. Aahaa does not watch your computer activity, postpone reminders by detecting video calls or block your work screen. Choose times that fit your day and check the suggested moves before trying them.
Your break stays private
Recorded attempts and custom-move videos stay on the device where they were created. Aahaa Plus can sync private score history across signed-in devices, but it does not back up your recordings. There is no public attempt feed in this release.
This is a guide to using the app, not a prescribed exercise routine. Choose only movements that fit your space and comfort. If you need advice about pain, an injury or suitable exercises, ask a qualified professional.
